Easy Jam Tart recipe

Ingredients
- 250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
 - 100g (½ cup) sugar
 - 1 egg and 1 yolk, beaten
 - 125g (8 tbsp, 1 stick + 1 tbsp, ½ cup) butter
 - 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest (optional)
 - 300g (1¼ cups) jam
 - A little powdered sugar for dusting
 

Instructions
- Place the flour, baking powder, and sugar in a food processor and pulse to mix.
 - Add the egg, yolk, butter, and lemon zest (if using) and process until the mixture starts to form large clumps.
 - Transfer two-thirds of the mixture to a lined 20cm (8-inch) square tin. Use your hands to press the mixture down evenly.
 - Spoon the jam over the surface, spreading it out with a spatula.
 - Crumble the remaining mixture over the jam.
 - Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40-45 minutes until the top is lightly brown.
 - Remove from the oven and let it cool in the tin. Then remove from the tin and cut into small squares.
 - Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
